My name is Luca Leffin, also known as Katharsis.

I live for distorted and harsh soundscapes. My journey began at the age of 14, when I started DJing Hardcore. What initially started as a fascination with fast tempos and uncompromising energy gradually developed into a deeper exploration of sound itself. Over the years, my influences expanded through Industrial, Noise, Power Electronics, and hypnotic Techno, eventually shaping the artistic identity I express today: Katharsis.

Katharsis represents rough industrial intensity, harsh distortion, hypnotic melodies, and raw bass. My music is driven by tension, repetition, and emotional weight rather than conventional structures. Every track and every performance is designed to create an immersive atmosphere where aggression and beauty coexist, pushing both the listener and myself beyond comfort into a space of release.

My sound is not just music; it is an emotional release. It is a process of transforming chaos, anxiety, fascination, and inner conflict into something tangible. Through overwhelming textures, mechanical rhythms, and moments of fragile silence, I seek to evoke emotions that cannot always be expressed through words.

My art reflects my inner self and my deep connection to ritualistic and industrial aesthetics. Inspired by abandoned architecture, forgotten machinery, archive imagery, and the symbolism of transformation, I create a visual and sonic language that feels both timeless and unsettling. Every set, every production, and every visual element is part of the same artistic vision.

Katharsis is more than a musical project. it is an ongoing process of exploration and self-confrontation.
